When we started working with this established Food & Beverages brand, we quickly realised there are great opportunities to improve their email results.
While performing the audits, we saw that:

like many online brands in the sector, they enjoyed a huge growth boost over the pandemic, which allowed them to acquire many new customers in a very short period of time
their team was struggling to turn around a downwards trend in their email marketing performance - despite constant, intense activity, the email attributable revenue continued to deteriorate
In an attempt to reach as many customers as possible, the team was sending each an every email campaign to the whole database. Often, they sent the same campaign again to to give themselves better chances of increased sales. As a result of this strategy, their Click Rates were very low, showing increasing lack of engagement, as well as continuously falling sales performance.
When KDV team took over the account, we started with basic personalisation. First and foremost, we wanted to stop annoying and disappointing loyal customers who were on the receiving end of tactics clearly not directed at them. We invited the customers to share their preferences regarding the types of content they are interested in receiving, and its frequency. Then, we respected what we heard from them and embarked on a journey of gradual segmentation of the audience and personalisation of the messages we sent to them.
Only in the first month after taking over the account, we saw a 2.7x growth of revenue as well as a 4x growth in Click Rates. And we're only getting started!
