What to talk about in...March

As February marches on, we’re back for our series ‘What to talk about in…’. So let’s dive into your March content topics!

With Spring on the horizon, there’s a huge variety of content to help your brand connect with customers and generate meaningful engagement.

Mother’s Day (UK)

Mother’s Day is the perfect time to reach out to your customers. Consider sharing gift guides, relatable anecdotes about your team’s mothers, and maybe a special Mother’s Day offer. Do keep in mind that Mother’s Day can be a hard time for some people, so make sure to include an opt-out option in the days leading up.

Arrival of Spring

March heralds the arrival of Spring and the change of the seasons. So why not tailor your content to encourage your customers to make a change or a new start? Position your brand as a supportive partner as your customers embark on a new journey.

International Women’s Day

The 8th of March is International Women’s Day. Shine the spotlight on and celebrate the women in your team, share some inspirational stories from across the world or partner with a charity.

St Patrick’s Day

While St Patrick’s Day might be an Irish holiday, it is celebrated all over the world. Take this opportunity to add some green to your content, expand on any Irish links to your brand and celebrate luck.

Easter

Easter is a great opportunity to create a virtual easter egg hunt across your website, hiding offers and exclusive products across your site. This festival is also the perfect time to make some Easter basket puns in your abandoned cart emails!

Veggie Month

While January might be well known for Veganuary, March is the season of the vegetable. The purpose of this event is to educate people on the importance of vegetables. Veggie month is a great time to highlight the role vegetables play in your product, especially if you are a food/health brand!

Daylight Saving Time

With daylight saving time comes the change of the clock, giving us an extra hour in the day. Make sure you remind your customers the day the clocks change to help position your brand as a helpful part of their inbox.
